It’s not uncommon for NLAP to receive calls from lawyers who feel stuck – they are struggling to keep up with work, and they have lost a sense of purpose in their legal career and often do not see a viable path forward. These lawyers are often facing malpractice claims, disciplinary complaints, and low job satisfaction. Why do lawyers end up in these circumstances? What are the alternatives and consequences?
This CLE will look the common causes of mental paralysis, including procrastination and perfectionism. Join Chris Aupperle, Director of NLAP, to examine the research on this issue and to explore solutions for lawyers to get unstuck.
