*Nebraska MCLE #196405. 1.0 Ethics Hours (OnDemand credit)**
**This program has been
approved for 1.0 hours of distance-learning CLE, including 1.0 hours of ethics.
You may claim 1.0 hours of credit total for this program.
This seminar explores the formation of identity, how our identities influence our perspectives and experiences and how that foundation is used by our brain to process information. We will then explore how this process can unknowingly create implicit biases within us (yes, we all have them) and how those biases can impact our decision-making as lawyers. Most importantly, this seminar will discuss ways we can help ourselves to identify our own biases and strategies for confronting those biases.
Hon. Stefanie A. Martinez- Judgeship: 2017-present
- District Court Judge, 2nd Judicial District; Cass, Otoe, and Sarpy Counties
