Tax issues are often very complicated but can greatly affect the amount of money a party receives in an employment case.  This presentation will address the most asked tax questions about employment settlements.  We will discuss income inclusion, withholding, attorneys’ fees, tax reporting, and other commonly asked questions.

Allison D. Balus primarily represents management clients in federal and state court employment-related litigation and arbitration. Her litigation experience includes federal court jury and bench trials in Title VII, FMLA, ADA, ADEA, breach of contract, and whistleblower cases.
