The presentation will provide labor and employment attorneys with an update and review of U.S. Supreme Court cases that impact the practice of labor and employment law.
Jennifer Huxoll, Assistant Attorney General, Civil Litigation Bureau Chief
Jennifer Huxoll serves as the Civil Litigation Bureau Chief for the Nebraska Attorney General’s Office, providing representation in all types of civil cases brought against the State of Nebraska and its employees. During her time with the Attorney General’s Office, she has specialized in employment and environmental law, as well as general civil litigation and government practice. Prior to her time with the Attorney General’s Office, Ms. Huxoll was in private practice working in the additional areas of family and criminal law. Ms. Huxoll is a graduate of the University of Nebraska College of Law and is admitted to practice before the Nebraska Supreme Court, the United States Federal District Court for the District of Nebraska, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.

Active Nebraska attorneys are required to complete 10 hours of continuing legal education (CLE) each year. Two of those 10 hours must be in the field of professional responsibility (ethics). Nebraska attorneys may claim only 5 hours of distance-learning CLE per year. Webinars viewed on this portal are considered distance-learning. Under the new MCLE reporting process, the NSBA will report your attendance for this program, which will be automatically updated into your transcript. The NSBA has 30 days to report your hours to Nebraska MCLE, and your transcript may not update immediately. You are no longer able to log your own hours in your transcript; they must be reported by the sponsor.
